Liam Karry (he/him)

Artistic Producer

Liam is the founding and current Artistic Producer of The Kick & Push Festival and the Kingston Theatre Alliance. He is also founder and Artistic Director of Single Thread Theatre Company, and presently serves of the board of anARC theatre. Recent directing credits include: Unless, a site-specific immersive experience produced in Bangkok, Thailand, and Collider, a live VR performance, which was co-produced by FOLDA and the rEvolver Festival in June 2021, and at Summerworks in 2022. His upcoming projects include PXR2024, a national conference on live performance within extended reality, and a return to Bangkok in 2025 to direct a new immersive site-specific work titled Everything You Know Is Wrong.

Amanda Baker (she/her)Festival AdministratorAmanda is a producer, theatre artist, and technologist based in Kingston and Toronto specializing in immersive and interactive theatre. She holds a BAH in Computing and the Creative Arts from Queen’s, and a Master’s in Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies from the University of Toronto. She is currently the bookkeeper for Generator, the Quality Assurance Lead for Cohort - an open source coding framework that allows artists to use smartphones to run live events, administered by adelheid - and was a recent participant in the 2021 Paprika Festival’s producing program.

Amanda Baker (she/her)

Festival Administrator

Amanda is a producer, theatre artist, and technologist based in Kingston and Toronto specializing in immersive and interactive theatre. She holds a BAH in Computing and the Creative Arts from Queen’s, and a Master’s in Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies from UofT. She is currently the Associate Artistic Producer for the Kingston Theatre Alliance, Bookkeeper for Generator, and Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Kingston Arts Council. Her recent work includes Quality Assurance for Cohort, Production Manager for Single Thread’s Virtual Ambrose, UX Designer for The Social Within the City, and Testing Lead for adelheid’s You Are Swimming Here AR experience.

Brian Solomon (he/him)

Indigenous Curator

Multi-award nominated, winner and loser, creator B Solomon is of Anishinaabe and settler heritage, born in Shebahonaning on the North Channel of Lake Huron. As a creator his work is multidisciplinary, raw, challenging and full of spirit.  His commissions have ranged from community-rooted works with over 100 interpreters, solos in trees, to animated installations of landfill. His works have been presented and toured across Turtle Island and abroad. Since he was a teenager, much of Solomon’s work has been committed to community activation with a focus on the unacknowledged and underserved ones across the land.   He is passionate about helping people relearn the nature of their ancient bodies, and take back the space those bodies occupy as caretakers. Wilding (they/them)

Technical Director

Wilding, moved to Kingston in 2018. They are originally from Vancouver, bringing with them 25+ years of diverse experience in various creative fields; including TV, film, theatre, animation, and video games.

They are a talented performer, production manager, stage manager, and technician. Whether it's lighting, sound, stage design, or anything in between, they love being a part of the production process. They serve as a Board Member for Domino Theatre, are the Head Improv Coach at Holy Cross Secondary School, teach Acting for the Camera and a variety of Improv Workshops for both youth and adults at BottleTree Theatre, and are one half of Improv Comedy duo, ‘All-Inclusive Comedy’! They also collaborate with Calliope Collective, Kingston WritersFest, and Theatre Kingston.

Allie Amplify (she/they)

Marketing Director

Allie Amplify is a Black, MAD artist, activist and educator living in Toronto, with a diverse background in both marketing and the arts. In addition to her work with Kick & Push, she is currently the Public Relations Manager for Single Thread Theatre’s PXR Conference, and the Communications Designer at Outside the March. Her artistic practice, although it takes many forms, has always been centered around community and education. Allie is the Creative Director & Designer of Amplify Collective, a wearable art, performance and advocacy organization.

Andrina Cockerham (she/they)

Marketing Coordinator

Andrina is a Musician, and a developing scholar, and is currently based in Kingston, Ontario. She is a recent graduate of Queen’s University’s Bachelor of Music program, specializing in the Clarinet.

Since moving to Kingston she has greatly appreciated the local arts community and has been grateful for getting to know the locals and visitors who take part and help create the arts community, and for the past four years at Queen’s University, she has participated in most ensembles and arts opportunities and was part of the pit band in the Dan School of Drama and Music’s past production The Drowsy Chaperone in 2019.

Andrina is very excited to be joining The Kick & Push Festival team as their Marketing Coordinator and looks forward to an artistic and inspiring summer.
